Roasted Capsicum Jam,
may well be the world’s most versatile condiment, the most unique, addictive, multiuse creation I have invented! Family and friends have been enjoying this one for years, always asking when it will be more than just a favourite treat when they visit. Some of you may even remember it as my signature product from the “Geoff Jansz Food Store” in Bowral.
Well, finally it is on the shelves of some of the best grocers who appreciate the special qualities of a handmade product. No preservatives, added colour or flavor. No compromises. And nothing comes even close to being in the same category.
Roasted Capsicum Jam can be served as a dip with cream cheese, in fact, served with all cheeses, with roasted meats, to liven up any sandwich or to enjoy with ham, chicken or indeed most smallgoods. Fantastic with chicken schnitzel! The list is limited only by your imagination….
Available at Thomas Dux Grocers, Lane Cove and Paddington.

Moroccan Onion Marmalade,
characterised by the wonderful flavours of caramelised onion and preserved lemon. Rich and deep in colour and flavour, with its own exotic personality. Surprisingly though, it sits well with many other ingredients to give your meals a real twist .
I enjoy it with grilled meats, on sandwiches, stirred through a sauce, and can you believe it, to replace tomato base on a pizza. Outstanding for a gourmet pizza with fetta and chicken or even lamb.
Available at Thomas Dux Grocers, Lane Cove and Paddington

Sweet & Tangy Asian Chilli,
mild and fragrant, made from fresh red chilli grown at my farm. This is a truly limited edition product, only available till the chilli runs out and then it won’t appear again until I pick the next crop some time around January 2009.
Light and fresh, this great sauce adds another dimension to curries of any cuisine, served on the side with rice, gives a great lift to Asian soups, especially to your favourite Laksa, and can be added to a curry towards the end of the cooking process.
Available at Thomas Dux Grocers, Lane Cove and Paddington

The farm in Bowral, October 2008. Rows of boysenberries, raspberries, blackberries, loganberries and silvanberries, in full flower. It is one of our favourite family traditions to pick berries on Christmas day to enjoy with our Christmas pudding. The lemongrass in the hothouse, goes into the Asian Chilli! And our fabulous orchard, many of the trees 40 years old, apples, pears, plums, figs and apricots, both heritage and modern varieties.
